Mary Brown-Edokpayi is an attorney with Cameron Firm, PC.  Like Mr. Cameron, Mrs. Brown-Edokpayi, Esq. is a Navy Veteran.  She was an Aviation Electronics Mate (AE) stationed at NAS North Island, working on the CH-46 Sea Knights.  She honorably served, achieving the rank of Petty Officer, and earning several awards, including Sailor of the Quarter.

After the Navy, Mrs. Brown-Edokpayi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming, graduating with honors with dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Philosophy.  She also received her law degree from the University of Wyoming, graduating in the top 20% of class and having produced actionable research on domestic violence survivors which was dispersed to the defense bar of Wyoming.

Prior to working at Cameron Firm, PC, Mrs. Brown-Edokpayi worked as a public defender in Colorado, where she represented several veterans facing criminal charges. She represented hundreds of clients, successfully litigating cases to plea agreements and jury trials.  She honed her veteran advocacy skills with Bergmann & Moore, where she practiced before the Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims (CAVC), winning veteran appeals through agreement and Court decisions.  She focused her advocacy on Military Sexual Trauma (MST) claims during her time at the National Veteran Legal Services Program, where she mentored other attorneys representing MST survivors in both VA claims and military discharge upgrade applications. She continued to directly represent MST survivors before the CAVC.
