The VA and the Veterans Day National Committee have officially opened submissions for the 2025 National Veterans Day Poster Contest.
This is your chance to showcase your artistic talent and create a powerful visual tribute to those who have served. The contest invites artists of all backgrounds to submit original artwork that reflects this year’s theme: “Service to our Nation.”
Following the success of last year’s contest, which drew over 150 entries, the winning design will be featured prominently across VA facilities, military installations, and community events nationwide. It will also grace the cover of the official program for the Veterans Day National Observance at Arlington National Cemetery on November 11, 2025.
Inspired by the “shared experience of service members,” last year’s winning artist, retired Army Veteran Myisha Godette, created a moving design incorporating the American flag, military dog tags, and a strong concrete background.
To participate, please submit your electronic artwork (jpg/jpeg or PDF format) to vetsday@va.gov by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 2, 2025. Be sure to review the design submission guidelines and explore past winning posters in the Veterans Day Poster Gallery for inspiration.
The Cameron Firm, PC, encourages all artists to consider participating in this meaningful tribute to our veterans.
