Here are the presumptive disabilities and diseases Associated with Agent Orange:
Remember presumptive means that no matter your health history, if you were exposed to Agent Orange, or other herbicides, you are entitled to these conditions without any question to other risk factors or your health history. For example, even if you smoke three packs of cigarettes a day, you are entitled to benefits for a developed lung cancer. If you eat five twinkies a day and end up with type II Diabetes, you are still entitled to benefits. The above list is a presumptive link to Agent Orange.
Other Non-presumptive diseases
Agent orange has been classified as a known human carcinogen. It has also been listed as the most toxic substance to ever be exposed to humans on a large-scale. It is nasty stuff that the VA doesn't want to admit causes many other types of cancers. That said, if you have a cancer that is not listed above, you may still quality for a service-connected disability. We partner with experienced medical doctors and related health professionals who will review your claim and, if appropriate, write on opinion to help you secure the benefits you deserve. Every case is different, but special attention should be provided in any cases of cancer with heavy agent orange exposure.
Far too often, we represent veterans who need a medical opinion or supporting statements that are not in the file. Other times, a failure on behalf of the VA needs to be pointed out and addressed. Do not risk losing your case due to substandard representation.
