Biography
Ashley Laganiere joined the US Army at age 17 and served from 2002 to 2006. A back injury sustained early in her career led her to change direction toward veteran advocacy.
Mrs. Laganiere began her career as a Veteran Service Representative for the St. Paul, MN, Regional Office of the US Department of Veterans Affairs in 2009. There, she specialized in claims for women veterans, especially those involving MST. In addition, Ashley served as a mentor, trained new hires across the nation, and piloted the VA WARTAC program.
In 2014, she became the Gold Star Family and Women Veterans Coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, she coordinated programs for Gold Star Families and Women Veterans, organized retreats and support workshops, and provided counseling and healthcare referrals, while continuing her specialized claims work.
In 2017, Mrs. Laganiere became a Veteran Service Officer for Olmsted County in Rochester, MN, her hometown. In this role, she served veterans from all walks of life, providing local, state, and federal benefits. She rose to Senior Veteran Service Officer, becoming the first female veteran to lead that office.
Ashley Laganiere brings her passion and experience to Cameron Firm, enhancing veteran welfare and improving access to benefits and services for all who have served.
