Biography
David M. Braga is an attorney who has spent most of his career helping veterans secure the benefits they’ve earned. Since 2017, he has worked on thousands of VA disability claims, handling cases from initial applications through appeals at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
His commitment to veterans runs in his family. His uncle served in the Air Force in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield, and his cousin is currently on active duty with the Army after completing a tour in Iraq during Operation Inherent Resolve. That connection drives his work every day.
Mr. Braga started as a paralegal at a national veterans disability law firm in 2017, advancing to Claims Advocate, Team Leader, Team Supervisor, and Expert Witness Coordinator before law school. He continued working with veterans part-time during law school and returned to VA disability practice full-time after passing the Massachusetts bar. After nearly two years in civil litigation, he came back to what matters most to him—fighting for veterans’ benefits.
He works regularly on cases involving toxic military exposures, TDIU, and Special Monthly Compensation. Mr. Braga has built complex evidentiary records, worked with medical and vocational experts, and handled appeals at every level of the VA system. As part of the Cameron Firm’s team, he contributes to the firm’s strong track record of securing benefits for veterans nationwide.
